AI Tool Arena ("we", "us", "our") operates the website aitoolarena.tech. We help people discover, compare, and vote on AI tools. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

Account data. When you register, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google or GitHub, your name and profile picture.

Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use double opt-in — you must confirm your email before being added.

Votes and interactions. When you vote in Arena battles, we record your vote linked to your user ID to prevent duplicate voting. We do not share individual voting data.

Usage data. We collect anonymised pageview and traffic data via Vercel Analytics. This does not include personal identifiers.

Affiliate clicks. When you click an affiliate link, we record the tool and timestamp to track performance. No personal data is stored with these records.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data only for the following purposes:

— To provide and improve the service
— To send the weekly newsletter (only if you opted in and confirmed)
— To prevent duplicate votes and abuse
— To measure site traffic anonymously
— To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Newsletter subscriber emails are kept until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@aitoolarena.tech.

We use the following third-party services to operate the site:
